This new automatic version of one of Al Mar's most popular folders is amazing.  Manufactured by Benchmade, it has a T6 6061 black anodized aluminum handle that was designed from the ground up to carry the best characteristics of the SERE 2000 and integrates the ergonomics, flow-through design and the reversible deep pocket clip for very discrete carry.  It features S30V part serrated stainless blade that is black tactical finished.  This no nonsense, utilitarian knife is great to carry and is one of the best auto knives I have ever used.  It feels good in your hand, carries well, and has a great clip point blade shape.  The Auto SERE also has a tip up pocket clip.  The safety is on the side and is a slide mechanism.  
The Auto SERE not only looks good, it feels good in your hand.
