  • Awesome knife with only a few complaints

PROS: - Knife is razor sharp. - The button deploys the blade quickly and with force. The button is also recessed and has never engaged while unlocked and in my pocket. - Knife fits nicely in my pocket and in my hand. I removed the clip because the knife is very slim and I don’t notice it. - Very light weight for an auto. - If you like Mel Pardue designs, you love this knife. For all intentions it’s an automatic Benchmade 530. CONS: - The anodized aluminum handle feels chalky. No better way to describe it. Would have preferred a rubber feel but that would have increased the weight. - The lock has 5 clicks between locked and unlock. I would have preferred a single click similar to the Benchmade CLA. To be fair I don’t use the lock. - The pocket clip is incredibly strong and I had a hard time slipping it into my pocket. Not really a problem for me cause I don’t use it. Conclusion: I gave the knife a 5/5 despite the criticism because the pros completely outweigh the cons. Awesome knife and I would recommend if you like Mel Pardue and Benchmade
