Pocket & Folding Buck Knives



Back in 1902 a young Kansas blacksmith apprentice was searching for a way to temper steel to hold an edge longer.  Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck knife.  For many years, Hoyt made every knife by hand using old worn out file blades.  After WWII, and as a result of the huge demand for his knives, Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up their first shop.  H.H. Buck & Son was created in 1947.  Al, Hoyt's son, designed the Model 110 Folding Hunter in 1964 and stood the knife industry on it's head.  This "lockable" folder made Buck a leader at the time--they haven't relinquished their position since.  
Buck pocket knives are reliable and well crafted tools.  If you want a knife that works--you can go to any brand.  If you want a knife with a lifetime warranty, get a Buck.  The Buck name is synonymous with reliability and has been for over 100 years.
