This is an OTF (out the front) clone knife of the knife that Heath Ledger playing the Joker uses in the new Batman movie. It has amazing fast and strong action. This knife was originally designed as a Special Forces combat knife and has a Japanese 440 stainless steel double edged blade. The blade is bead blasted. This is one great knife. Out the front knives at this cheap price don't come along every day.

 

The Joker Out the Front Knife has been one of our best selling low cost out the front knives for several years now. This single action knife opens fast and hard when you push the trigger. The double sided blade is sharp on both sides. One extremely cool thing about this knife is that it looks exactly like the one the Joker used in the Batman movie.

BLADE

The blade on this knife is double sided. The blade is 3 3/8" long and has partial serrations on both edges. The serrations are just under 1" long and are very aggressive. The blade is 440 Stainless steel and has a bead blast finish. Up the middle, there is a open slot/groove that gives the blade a great look. This is a very usable knife. Unlike some of the low cost OTF knives, this blade locks up very tight and has minimal play.

 

HANDLE

The handle on the Joker knife is built from aluminum. The top and bottom are held together with five hex head screws that thread into the bottom half of the handle. The handle has a black powder coat finish. The top half of the handle has three long decorative grooves up the middle that give you some extra grip and then three "arrow" shaped groves right at the top of the handle. In between the two sections of grooves, the button is inset in a small indentation. The handle has enough shape and texture that it is easy to hold and comfortable in the hand. On one side of the handle, the reset for the trigger rides. When you fire the knife, the blade comes out and the reset trigger slides up to the top of the handle. To reset the blade, you depress the button again and slide the reset back down to the base of the handle. This retracts the blade. This means that you have to hold the knife in more of a pinch grip when you trigger or reset the blade because the reset slides up and down the groove in the side of the handle.
