Karambit knives orginate from the cultures of Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.  The blade is designed after the shape of a tiger claw and was believed to impart the power of the tiger to its user.  Karambits are used primarily in martial arts as a defensive weapon.  This spring assisted knife can be opened by flicking the index release button and has remarkably fast spring action.  The black tactical blade is made of 1045 surgical steel and has a plain edge.  The handle is black aluminum with a tactical grip inlay.
