The Chive series features Kershaw's SpeedSafe ambidextrous opening system for smooth, easy opening by both right and left-handed users. This model, the KS1600DAMBK, features black tungsten DLC coated stainless steel handles and a damsacus steel blade. Black Tungsten DLC coated stainless handles. Features an index trigger that serves both as an ambidextrous opening aid and as a finger guard when the knife is open. With a simple push on the index trigger, the closed knife quickly springs open using The Ken Onion Speed Safe torsion bar technology to propel the blade to an open and locked position. The dual thumb studs serve as the positive stop for the blade. The notched thumb ramp of the blade provides a secure placement for the index finger or thumb to rest on during use. All Chives also feature the Safety Tip Lock to ensure the blade stays securely inside the handle until the user releases it, and a removable pocket clip for easy carrying. The Chive may be the smallest member of the "Onion" family, but it's got all the advanced features knife users demand.
