The Kershaw R.A.M knife is interesting, it isn't technically a spring assisted knife but it does use a flipper system. By the time you push enough on the flipper to get it started, you naturally just follow through and it opens with just a quick push of the finger. This design was honored by Blade Magazine in 2007 and the knife features a textured black G-10 handle overlay on a black aluminum 6061-T6 frame. You can also open the knife with the thumb studs. The blade is made of Sandvik 13C26 stainless steel and it locks up tight with the innovative Hawk Lock technology. This is a great all around carry knife.

Although there is no spring to help it open, with a decent touch, you can open it very easily one handed.
