The Troodon (TROH-o-don) was named after a dinosaur. The name is Greek for "wounding tooth". The Combat Troodon is built bigger and bolder than the Troodon, specifically for serious tactical use. This fantastic OTF knife has a slender contoured handle that is a delight to hold and use. The 142-7OR has a dual edged beadblast finished blade, both edges are plain (standard) and an orange anodized handle. It has the feel of all the Microtech classic knives and the entire knife project was spear headed by Anthony Marfione. It has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms which improve the overall operational functionality and reliability. Like each Microtech knife, this out the front knife boasts fantastic function.
