The Troodon (TROH-o-don) was named after a dinosaur. The name is Greek for "wounding tooth". This fantastic OTF knife has a slender contoured handle that is a delight to hold and use. The Combat Troodon MT144-1PU has single edge tanto blade. The blade has a black finish and the handles are Purple aluminum with black tactical hardware. It has the feel of all the Microtech classic knives and the entire knife project was spear headed by Anthony Marfione. It has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms which improve the overall operational functionality and reliability. Like each Microtech knife, this out the front knife is fantastic.
