Description

The radically redesigned Microtech UTX-85 out the front knife now features a new contoured handle, updated tri-angle hardware, a redesigned thumb slide and the glass breaker that now includes a press fitted ball bearing for a more comfortable, but still functional, user experience. This fantastic dual action knife is the ideal size and as the name exhibits, the UTX-85 is 85% the size of the flagship Ultratech knife but with 100% of the capability. This model boasts a black handle complete with all-black hardware and an integrated glass breaker function along with a drop point style blade in a black finish with satin finished blade flats. Made in the USA.

    The service from BladeOps was excellent, with fast shipping. I got the exact metal I wanted on the utx-85, and it performs better than I could ask for. Well balanced, perfect soze for edc at work professionally and at home, sharp as ever, and has been used more than my other knives as I actually like using the one handed features of it.

    My recent purchase of the UTX -85 tactical is my first Microtech. I’ve been a sog guy for the last 10 years or so. The UTX Is ergonomically speaking spectacular, very comfortable easy to use and a great EDC. It’s compact so when carrying it’s easy to forget it’s in your pocket it’s so light. I couldn’t be happier from shipping, packaging to the truly amazing OTF.
