Microtech's Combat Troodon is a precision made, out-the-front tactical knife made 25% bigger than the Troodon. It has a nice contoured shape and narrow handle that provides a nice grip. The slide trigger on the spine is easy to use and opens/closes the blade. As expected, Microtech has made a very quality otf knife. Functional, reliable, the Combat Troodon is designed for a very large spectrum of close quarters combat as well as utility functions.

The Microtech Scarab OTF knife is one of the all time best knives. The 3T model is even bettter. This out the front delight opens and closes with the slide button on the right side of the handle. The speed, action, and lock up of this blade is exactly what you would expect from Microtech--outstanding. The 3T Scarab has a double edged blade with full serrations on the right side (same side as the slide trigger). The other side of the blade is plain edged. This beautiful blade is black DLC (diamond like coating) S30-V and the handle is made of T-6 aluminum. The handle is stunning. It has carbon fiber inserts that really set this knife apart. The blackened hardware is titanium and the firing trigger has a tritium insert so you can find it even in full dark. This OTF knife comes with a pocket clip, glass breaker, and a nylon sheath.

Using only the finest S30V steel, the tanto blade is brushed satin, chisel ground (flat gound on the backside) and razor sharp. Laser etched "flood" pattern Hamon on the front side of the blade edge. The 6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminum handle is anodized black with a laser etched front handle bearing the Japanese symbol for the Katana. The Spring steel clip displays "Ultratech" in Japanese symbol with a family crest logo at the top of the clip. Truly a magnificent addition to the Ultratech line -- the Katana is as tough as Microtech promises, and "Tactically Classy."

Microtech has designed and manufactured their own set of four Torx wrenches. This set has the T6, T8, T9 and T10 sizes in it. This is a set of four Torx wrenches (T6, T8, T9 & T10) manufactured by Microtech. The bits and handle are all made of steel and the bit heads are held in place with a magnet. The handle on this set is green. Also, you can store two loose bits in the handle of the set. These are sold as a tool to adjust your screws. If you disassemble your knife you will void your warranty. Don't force the screws if they are tight, it is possible to strip the wrench teeth. If you suspect that loc-tight is the reason you can't loosen your screws, heat them slightly, this may help.

The Troodon (TROH-o-don) was named after a dinosaur. The name is Greek for "wounding tooth". This fantastic OTF knife has a slender handle which is contoured. A delight to hold and use. It has the feel of all the Microtech classic knives and the entire knife project was spear headed by Anthony AMarfione. This OTF knife by Microtech is a Limited Edition KATANA DAYTONA OTF Automatic Knife. The blade is SV30 steel and is chisel ground. It has a beautiful "hand forged/hand folded/ hand sharpened" pattern on it.
