This spring assist knife is extremely nice for two main reasons. First, it is larger and thinner than most. I like that design and layout--and, if you have large hands, it gives you good length handle to grab onto. Second, the blade on this knife pops out really easy. Don't get me wrong, it isn't going to accidently open on you, but when you start this blade it pops out fast and good. The handle is open frame. This allows you to clean the knife really easily and to keep it clean from debris. It doesn't act like a dust collector when it is in your pocket. The scales are a composite material that is smooth and has a good feel. There are six holes down each side which allow your fingers to get a good grip on the handle. The blade is bayonet style. This is good because it keeps the blade tip to about halfway down the blade very thin for any type of penetration work you may have. The steel is good and seems easy to keep sharp. Overall, this is one of our better spring assist knives. Simple construction, sturdy, and most important, easy to use.
