The SOG Trident features the S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology) system to flip the blade open fast after you get it started. When you first put eyes on the Trident, you immediately know it is an SOG--not just because it has that look, but also because it features the quality you expect from an SOG knife. The Trident also has the new Arc-Actuator blade release system, a built in safety, and a bayonet style see through clip that is reversible. This model, the TF5, has a copper colored combo blade built of AUS 8 stainless steel with a TiNi coating. The handles are built from glass reinforced Zytel which give them strength but keep your knife light for easier carry. The handle also has the unique patented Groove which allows you to cut paracord, fishing line, or whatever without even having to open the knife. The Trident can easily be opened with one hand and the Trident also comes with a Lifetime Warranty from SOG. The Trident is a definite must have knife.
