The Schrade Extreme Survival Assisted open knife springs open as you start it by pushing the blade button.  This knife has a part serrated blade.  The handle is made of T6061 Aircraft aluminum and has grip paper inserts in the handles to increase your grip on the blade.  This is a great assisted opening knife.

this folder rocks! I have owned cold steel, benchmade. etc etc. This one compares on the cheap side with them. Got mine for 27.00 and its a work horse! The lock is positive. Fit and finish are of a great quality. Edge holding retention is nice. Love everything about it.
