Description
The Smith & Wesson Black Tactical Survival Pen, model SWPEN2, is a tactical survival and writing tool. The pen can also be used as a self defense tool. The pen is built from anodized aluminum which makes it very strong as well as lightweight. The pen can be opened and closed by twisting it. Inside the pen, there is a ferro rod that can be used as a firestarter. You can use the butt of the pen to strike the ferro rod or another piece of metal (in our office tests the back edge of a knife worked great). The butt can also be removed and replaced with a key ring cap. This makes the pen smaller and more of an every day carry. In a pinch, the pen can also be used as a mini kubiton. All around, this is possible the most useful pen from a line of great Smith & Wesson pens.
