The inspiration for Spyderco's designs somestimes comes from the most curious places. In the case of the Introvert Folder, it began with Christ Knutson, a lifelong martial artist, knifemaker and Spyderco enthusiast who origninally set out to design a folding version of the Spyderco Swick neck knife that he could carry in areas that did not allow fixed blades. The design ultimately evoloved into a truly unique folder that combines a flipper opener, a sturdy backlock mechanism, and a Fred Perrin-inspired index finger hole to create a knife that offers quick one-handed opening and exceptional grip security. Its full flat gournd blade is machined form VG-10 stainless steel and is paired with a handle that features full stainless steel liners, textured G-10 scales and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that offers both left and right-side carry.
