The Spyderco PITS (Pie in the Sky) knife features a broad clip point blade of Bohler-Uddeholm N690Co steel which is a martensitic chromium steel alloyed with cobalt, molybdenum and vanadium. This Mike Read design is named after Read's forum name on bladeforums. It boasts convenient one hand opening and has an integral guard at the base of the edge to help prevent accidental closure when in use. The solid titanium handle scales are skeletonized to add grip and reduce weight. It has a unique slipjoint mechanism that allows you to put pressure on the blade to keep it open when in use. Comes with a deep pocket wire clip, tip up. This is a robust non locking folder that is socially friendly and legally permissible. It delivers serious cutting performance.
