Description

The Spyderco Sub Hilt Folder Knife, designed by Butch Valloton, features an ambidextrous thumb stud along with the Spyderco Round hole to open the blade from either side. The thumb stud serves a double role of opener as well as stop pin to keep the blade from rotating beyond the locked position. This Italian style heavy stock folder sports a modified coffin shaped handle of polished black G10 with tounge and groove fitted stainless steel bolsters. The Sub Hilt also has the Michael Walker LinerLock® a four-way: tip-up/tip-down, right- or left-handed steel clip and screw-together scale construction. The tanto blade is CPM-S30V from Crucible Steel Inc. of New York. The blade is hollow-ground at the cutting edge with a convex-grind at the tip and is offered PlainEdged for the best available cutting performance.
