this is my first knife and i am satisfied. the screws come loose but can be fixed with rubber cement as lock tight after that i never had to fix it again. latch comes loose so i also fixed the bottom screws. best part is when i drop it(very unlikely) it never leaves a scratch. over all this knife made me awesome with its life changing effects

Great Balisong for the price. |

With this knife, you can't go wrong. The whole blade is made of the same metal. Very sturdy and smooth. The knife blade is very sharp. Could pair up with a higher end balisong. The screws do become very very loose quickly. You will find your self tightening them every few minutes of twirling. Lock-tite is your only hope for this knife. The weight seems a little light weight for me. Also, the handles are very slim, which makes it harder to catch when doing aerials and spins. But the best knife to buy when starting out. Great price. On to par with high-end Bear and Son Models.

Excellent low-price balisong |

This balisong is a beauty at the price. The lock is a tad loose as the previous reviewer stated. What we mean by that is the latch tends to rotate to where it is between the blade and the handle while you are twirling, and can occasionally get in the way, or sometimes, if holding the balisong vertically, gravity will open the latch. Very rare, however; I find no problem with it. The hex screws are great, but I'm going to Loctite them as they loosen very quickly when doing more complex moves. The action is extremely smooth, and the weight feels just right. I love the ridges on the handles as they perfectly mark the regular grip points for many tricks. Recommended buy for sure.

this knife is def. 5 stars, the only reason i wouldn't give it 5 stars is because the lock is pretty loose, but thats ok, also i cut my fingers a couple times but thats cause i was just being careless!
