Bradley Cutlery uses bead blast S30V steel for its blades, phosphorus bushings. Bradley Cutlery Alias Series also feature a machined 6AL 4V titanium mono-lock (frame-lock) design for extreme strength, blue anodized aluminum barrel spacers and thumb studs and removable and reversible (for tip-up/tip-down carry) stainless steel pocket carry clip. The Bradly Cutlery Alias series pocketknife is an outstanding knife all for much less than we have been accustomed to from a knife of this caliber.

Like so many great automatic knife companies before them, the Pirahna Knife Co. began their life in a machine shop. The new Ciabatta is a revolutionary new spring assisted knife. It may be my most favorite spring assisted knife of all time. The way it opens, is you push the blade slightly into the handle and then release. The blade pops open fast. The new Ciabatta is a completely new idea in folding knives. The mechanism is "Spring Assisted" because the knife can only be opened with pressure applied to the blade, and there is a detent that keeps the blade in the closed position so that it cannot be flipped open with gravity. The Pin Lock Ultra Safety (PLUS) mechanism will take a few minutes to become familiar with. Don't worry if it takes a couple of trys to get this knife open. Once you figure it out, it is a cinch. You will wonder why all spring assists aren't built this way. Since this knife opens and closes in a completely different manner than other knives, be sure to take some time to review the instruction sheet before handling these knives.

The TR-3 SWAT is extremely popular with Law Enforcement Professionals and Military. Most likely because it has a slender, well designed handle. The famous custom knife maker J.A. Harkins designed this outstanding tacitcal knife. Harkins has been evolutionary in the design of OTF's (Out-The-Front automatics) for several years and has literally put OTF's back on the proverbially map for knife collectors and users worldwide. He has lent his talent to the MOD team and has come up with the definitive tactical OTF on the market today, the Triton. The 3.75 inch, 154CM blade rapidly "fires" from the top of the handle with the side actuating lever and just as easily redeploys into the handle with the opposite movement of the with the lever in the reverse direction. The blade is coated with a subdued black DLC finish, which allows no shine from the blade, with the exception of the edges on either side. A perfect complement to any professional's accouterment or OTF collector.
