The auto AXIS system for automatic knives is one of my favorite systems in production. It is simple to use and seems to be infallible. You just grab the ball and pull it towards the base of the handle. It is easy to do with one hand. And since this Heckler and Koch knife is made by Benchmade, you get the best of all worlds. This beefy knife feels great in your hand, is easy to hold on to, and even has a finger cutout for additional gripping power. I especially like the blade on the H&K Snoody auto knife. The shape is great. It seems to be able to function in nearly every situation I encounter. This is a great everyday carry knife.
