The Benchmade 5000S Presidio Auto Axis has a 154-CM drop point blade. This model, the 5000S, has partial serrations on the blade. The black anodized 6061 T6 aluminum handles have nicely milled ribs and grooves running across. This makes the knife a pleasure to hold and easy to keep hold of in difficult situations. The patented AXIS lock system makes for easy open and close. You pull the AXIS button down and the blade opens up automatically. To close, you just pull the button down again and then fold the blade back into the handle. This knife is, as are all the Benchmade knives, a keeper. It will make your knife collection better and you could trust it when you need a knife that counts.
