my favorite knife September 24, 2011
Reviewer: tom boyer from chepachet, RI United States
I bought one of these about 1 1/2 months ago and it is by far my favorite knife I have ever owned.  I use it as my EDC knife and it has held up remarkably.  The 154cm steel holds an edge very well, I have only had to touch it up once since I got it.  Also this has to be the smoothest opening knife I have.   Compared to the 551, my other knives feel like they grind as I open them.  As for the axis lock, it has held up better than any of my liner lock or lock back knives.  Plus it is quite fun to open and close using just the axis lock.  The only complaint I have with this knife is that the black coated pocket clip has already started to get worn away. This isn't that big of a deal considering Benchmade's warranty department will send a new one if it gets too bad/falls off.  Overall I would recommend this knife to anyone who is looking for a quality knife.

Great Knife a must have!! September 20, 2011
Reviewer: Keylitho from Seattle, WA United States
When I first saw the Axis lock I wasn't sure how it worked and wasnt a fan... Until I watched some YouTube videos on the knife I realized just how great this Axis lock really is.. The fact that you can close this knife as fast as you can open it is what really makes this knife stand out..not to mention the 154cm blade steel has some great edge retention... I love this knife very much and find that it is the most likely one of my collection to get carried arround.
