The artistic and radical overhaul of this traditional Blue Class model highlights both classy marbled carbon fiber and exotic mother of pearl throughout the handle and the Damasteel® material used in the blade is the best performing stainless damascus in the world--offering premium strength, edge retention and corrosion resistance properties not typically found in most damascus blades. Each Gold Class Foray folder knife utilizes Benchmade's AXIS® lock mechanism which is a fully ambidextrous operating system utilizing a custom dual thumb stud design. This Gold Class model, the 698-181, features a marbled carbon fiber handle complete with mother of pearl inlays, DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) black coated hardware and stainless steel liners, a drop point style blade in a Loki patterned Damasteel® damascus finish and the reversible pocket clip is designed for tip up carry only but is eligible for a left or right hand carry option.
