As a prominent member of the Knifemakers' Guild for 40+ years, Jim Hammond took the phrase "art in motion" and stuck a blade on it and called it the Williwaw. Named after the bitter cold wind in the Alaskan mountains, the Williwaw frame lock flipper sports clean and classic lines for style while also providing a dedicated finger groove and positive thumb ramp for support. Additionally, each stainless steel blade is deployed with a spine flipper function and the fluid action can be attributed to the IKBS ball bearing pivot system. From the beginning, CRKT has been driven by a single purpose: to bring useful technological advancements and entirely new product concepts to today's market. This model, the 6016, features a two-toned blackened stonewash stainless steel handle, a modified drop point style blade in a satin finish and the pocket clip is statically designed for tip down carry only on the traditional side of the handle.
