The Cold Steel X-Large Voyager Knife, model CS29TXCC, features a clip point blade of extra thick and wide Carpenter CTS-BD1 stainless steel with a thin edge for maximum shearing. With the high quality heat treatment, it will keep an edge for a long time. Built with the incomparable Tri-Ad® lock mechanism, the Voyager locking system is strong, reliable, and low maintenance. This lock back knife is easy to open with one hand and features state of the art mechanical fasteners, massively over-sized pivot pins that are fully adjustable and properly hardened, and dual stainless steel pocket clips for ambidextrous carry and deployment. The Grivory handles feature 6061 heat treated aluminum liners for the utmost in strength and stiffness and are ergonomically designed to afford a wide array of grip options including the palm reinforced forward grip for which they are particularly well suited. Highly "gripable", Grivory is stronger than Zytel and with the deep textures on the Voyager easy to hold regardless of conditions.
