The Phalanx is one of several new models released by Emerson Knives this year. Rugged quality and superior construction are adjectives that Emerson Knives are known for and this model is no exception. Each liner lock designed model features the Emerson Wave opening feature which allows you to fully open the blade by catching the "hook" on a pocket as you draw the knife out or it can be manually deployed with the use of the thumb disk. "Emerson Ergonomics" provide a positive thump ramp and a dedicated finger choil for an ideal grip and the over-sized pivot screw allows for easy adjustment without the use of special tools. As part of the newly released Signature Series, every knife features a unique serial number in addition to having Ernest Emerson's signature and year of production on the back face of the blade. This model features a black G-10 handle, titanium liners, a tanto style blade in a stonewash finish and the pocket clip is statically designed for tip up carry only on the traditional side of the handle.
