This Bastinelli designed friction folder boasts a single finger groove and the spine of the knife sports thumb jimping which becomes very useful when more precise cutting is needed. A friction folder by definition is a folding knife that does not use a lock or springs and uses the handle's friction against the tang to stay open. Fox Knives is an Italian-based company that began in 1977 and has built a reputation for innovative and quality products in both the national and international markets. This model features a black FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) handle, a wharncliffe style blade in a satin finish, no pocket clip and a light-duty black leather sheath that does not offer a carry option on a belt.
