Gerber took the very popular, original Torch knife and improved it by putting a tanto blade with partial serrations on it along with dual thumb studs and a finger flip for easy, fast, one-handed opening. Although it isn't a spring assisted knife, it almost feels like one. Made with Gerber's unique frame-lock safety and a nice finger flip protect, the Torch I is a fantastic knife. The Torch I sports a stainless steel handle with textured glass filled nylon inserts that give you a ton of grip on the handle. Also has a lanyard hole at the base of the handle (on the spine side).
