The CRKT Ken Onion Ripple 2 knife is the second collaboration between Columbia River Knife & Tool and knifemaker Ken Onion. This is a smaller version of the original Ripple knife and has the spectacular nearly friction free IKBS ball bearing system which makes opening and closing this knife unbelievably smooth. The Ripple 2 has a modified 2 3/4" drop point blade made of premium Japanese made Acuto+ stainless (59-60 Rc.) and has a high hollow grind, swedged top edge, and a high satin finish. You just press the flipper and the knife blade glides open. While closed, the blade has a ball detent to create a bias towards being in the closed position. The Ripple 2 is a frame lock knife with stainelss handles that are CNC machined with a great "ripple" texture and 44 small holes to reduce weight. The K400KXP model has a charcoal titanium nitride coat.
