The AM-5 is one of many new spring assisted models released by Kershaw this year and 1 of 4 models that Kershaw and Al Mar Knives collaborated with. This frame lock designed model features Kershaw's patented SpeedSafe system which quickly deploys the blade via the ambidextrous flipper function. Each knife features classy styling and unique red barrel spacers to compliment the red Al Mar logo etched onto the pocket clip and compared to the AM-4, this knife provides dedicated finger grooves and a heftier design. This model, the AM-5, features a black polished G-10 front handle scale, a black stainless steel rear handle scale, a clip point style blade in a black finish and the deep carry pocket clip is statically designed for tip up carry only on the traditional side of the handle.
