The word Troodon (TROH-o-don) was actually named after a bird-like dinosaur from the Campanian age. The literal translation in Greek is "wounding tooth" which represents the sharp and serrated nature of the Troodon's dental structure. The Combat Troodon is 25% larger than the tradition Troodon model but still manages to boast a sleek slender contoured handle that is ergonomic as it is functional. Each Microtech OTF knife has extremely sophisticated internal mechanisms which improve the overall operational functionality and reliability. This MCK model features a carbon fiber top over a black anodized alloy handle scale, standard blued titanium hardware and an integrated glass breaker function along with a bowie style blade in a Chad Nichols damascus finish with M390 core. Package comes complete with a presentation box, zipper pouch as well as a certificate of authenticity. Made in the USA.
