Microtech's has just released the new 2011 Kestrel Automatic Knife. This side open automatic has all the quality and class you expect from a Microtech. The button is inset and when triggered snaps the blade out fast. The 132-2GR features a green anodized 6061 T6 aluminum handle with grip inlays for greater knife control The wharncliffe style blade on this model has a black DLC tactical coat and partial serrations. The ergonomic handle is comfortable to hold and fits in your hand like an auto knife should. There is jimping on both sides of the handle that give additional control. The handle design is open with large barrel spacers for easier maintenance and cleaning. It also has a removable pocket clip and comes with a nylon carry pouch.
