This side open automatic knife was first produced in the 1990's and quickly ended up as one of Microtech's fastest selling knives. That is saying a lot. The new model of the L.U.D.T. (stands for the Large version of the Underwater Demolition Team) auto knife has T6 black anodized aluminum handles and a Bead Blast finished combo edged blade. The LUDT has incredibly smooth action and a nice solid feel to it that you rarely find in most auto knives.
