Ontario Ranger Series RD4 Tan Micarta Plain Edge Knife, 9415TM

The Ontario Ranger Series RD4 Fixed Fixed Blade is part of the Ready Detachment Series of knives. Each of them feature a 5160 steel blade with black texture powder coating. This model, the 9415TM, sports a tan micarta handle and a 4.5" plain edge blade. This big fixed blade knife has an amazingly comfortable handle shape that is easy to grip and hold onto. The micarta handle provides plenty of grip regardless of the environment. A generous finger choil and wide jimping on the spine provide even more blade control for in close work. The base of the handle has the full tang exposed with a slot for a lanyard or strap. The base also functions as a glass breaker and has jimping for your thumb if you hold the blade in a reverse grip. Built for heavy duty use, the RD4 is ready for action. Comes standard with a MOLLE compatible black nylon sheath. The sheath has a hard plastic insert to protect your knife edge and it has a roomy utility pouch.
