The Flash I by SOG is one of the greatest small knives out there. It is simple and fast to open. It comes out fast because it uses the SOG Assisted Technology (S.A.T.), which employs a powerful piston lock that is easily released with a sliding button. And the Flash is small enough to carry in you pocket. Along those lines, SOG designed it with a bayonet mounted reversible clip that gives you the ability to carry this knife extremely low and discreetly. The handle is made of glass-reinforced Zytel and the straight edge, satin finish blade is AUS8. What a great knife the Flash I is. It comes with an extremely sharp, plain edge blade made of AUS 8 steel. Not overly large, the Flash I assisted knife from SOG works really good as an every day carry knife. This knife is comfortable to hold and has a bayonet mounted clip which allows you to carry it very discreetly. Good for those people who carry knives but may not want to be advertising the fact. SOG quality through and through.
