Spyderco's Citadel Jr (83MM) automatic knife is fantastic.  It is just exactly as good as the Citadel original auto knife but in a smaller package (only 7.5 inches long open) for a smaller carry profile.
The Citadel, long awaited, lives up to the expectations.  This beefy auto knife has a very nice textured aluminum handle.  Right in the middle of the handle it has the Spyderco logo.  The blade, black coated CPM S30V is black finished (plain).  It snaps out fast when you push the plunger style push button.  It has a reversible pocket clip, tip up.  This is a great knife for anyone.

Spyderco Citadel September 7, 2015
Reviewer: Thomas Weeks from Loganville, GA United States
I did not get all that interested in automatic knives until about a year ago. I started out with a couple of Piranhas and really liked them. The more I looked and read around the more I wanted the Citadel. Problem was that it had been discontinued three years prior. After much searching and quite a few letdowns, I found a never owned, never carried pristine 83mm full black for sale and I jumped on it. I own at least 7 automatics and the Citadel is by far the best. It is very solid with no wiggle up, down or sideways. It opens fast and hard but not really loud (which I like because it does not draw unwanted attention). It looks bad to the bone and I think it is a very impressive knife. I am very glad I found this one.

Top 5 Auto Knives of all time. June 25, 2009
Reviewer:  N. Jons from Earth
The Spydeco Citadel 83 is one sweet auto knife. I prefer the 83 over the bigger one only because I like to carry most of my knives in my front pocket. The two knives are the very same just different sizes. Things I like about the knife; The spring is super strong, the blade shape, tha fact that the safety is close to the automatic button, I love the texture of the handle it's not going to mess up your pocket but when you need grip it's there, and last of all it's a Spyderco knife... they always do it up right.
