The Spyderco Lil' Nilakka folder knife is one of many new folders released by Spyderco this year. Designed by Finnish knifemaker Pekka Tuominen, the Lil' Nilakka takes the iconic Puukko fixed blade knife and converts it into a more pocket friendly folder knife. This model features a full flat ground RWL34 stainless steel blade that tapers to a microbevel, making it nearly zero ground for incredible sharpness and edge geometry. The Lil' Nilakka utilizes Spyderco's Linerlock mechanism--a leaf-like spring split from the liner to wedge laterally against a ramped surface on the tang of the blade. This knife is part of Spyderco's Flash Batch Series which operates much like Spyderco's Sprint Run make-up but showcases and entirely new design versus a rendition of a production model. Each Flash Batch model will offer the same exclusivity but offer more collectability thanks to the increased rarity. This model, the C221GPWH, features a white polished G-10 handle, asatin finished clip point style blade, stainless steel liners, stainless steel back spacer, Spyderco's trademark round hole opening feature and a pocket clip designed for tip up carry only.
