Much like the TOPS Brakimo and and Tanimboca models, the Yacare was also inspired by another jungle excursion by TOPS' General Manager Craig Powell who saw the locals not only carrying something similar but also utilizing the same form as a decorative piece. With an impressive weight-to-balance ratio, the extra-large belly of the blade is more than ideal for cutting through thick jungle vines or just back country foliage. This model features a blackened canvas micarta handles, a barong machete style blade in a tumbled grey "Acid Rain" finish and the black ballistic nylon sheath offers a secondary pocket and a velcro-enclosed security strap. Made in the USA.
